Indigo flight (6E 6591), an Airbus A321neo, had a technical fault due to which the plane got stuck in the air and the plane circled in the air for 40 minutes.

The Indigo flight on 20 July 2025 going from Tirupati to Hyderabad suddenly malfunctioned. After taking off from Tripura, the plane hovered in the sky for about 40 minutes.
According to Radar24, the flight takeoff at 7:20 p.m. and after 40 minutes made a U turn to land at around 8:34 pm.
During this time, there were 221 passengers on the plane. As soon as the plane malfunctioned in the air, the passengers started breathing heavily. The condition of the passengers present on the plane worsened, and they started panicking. However, after 40 minutes, the plane safely landed in Tirupati. After that, the passengers breathed a sigh of relief.
The technical fault in the flight, it was not taken towards Hyderabad. All the passengers and cruise staff on board the plane are safe.
