The  Airbus A320 (VT-TYA) Air India flight (AI-2744)  slipped off the runway outside Touch Town. All the passengers have been safely evacuated. The plane has been safely parked.

The plane that arrived in Mumbai from Kochi has been stopped for checking. This could have been a very big incident. It has been averted. A major accident was averted on Monday morning at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai. 

When a plane coming from Kochi overshot the runway. It overshot the runway. This incident happened at 9:27 am. But the relief is that all the passengers on board the plane are completely safe. After this incident of runway exhaustion, emergency response teams were immediately activated. 
According to preliminary information, the primary runway – 09/27 of the airport has suffered a little damage and due to this, the primary runway has been closed and the second runway 14/32  has been opened. Further investigation is being done in the case as to how the whole incident happened and what was the reason behind it?
