Emirates Unveils Stunning Retrofitted Boeing 777 in Mumbai — Flyers to Experience Luxe Premium Economy Cabins

Effective 26 August 2025, Emirates has elevated travel from Mumbai by planting a retrofitted Boeing 777 featuring the airline’s Premium Economy cabin. This marks a significant  improvement in passenger comfort and cabin experience on 22 weekly flights between Mumbai and Dubai. Other Middle Eastern destinations like Amman, Muscat, and Bahrain are also included in the refurbishment rollout.

Background & Strategic Purpose 

This deployment is part of a broader $ 5 billion modernization. With the high- end four- class cabin layout now extended to the 777s including game- changing First Class suites, refreshed Business Class, Premium Economy, and upgraded Economy — Emirates continues to review long- haul travel comfort.

Cabin Highlights 

Premium Economy Cabin

• 24 seats in a 2-4-2 layout with plush cream leather, wood- trimmed tables, and a 38- inch pitch, 19.5- inch  range, and 8- inch recline, with 6- way movable headrests 
• The design glasses the success of the A380’s Premium Economy while bringing an ultramodern touch to the 777 line. 
• Enhanced dining includes indigenous dishes served on Royal Doulton tableware, with welcome drinks and sophisticated service 

Business Class & further

• Business Class now features a 1-2-1  taradiddle -flat configuration,  particular minibar, large HD  defenses, and direct aisle access. 
• First Class offers exclusive game- changer suites with virtual windows, mood lighting, minibars, and  sequestration doors 
• Frugality gets redesigned ergonomic seats with  further legroom,  particular  defenses, and refreshed aesthetics.
