Turkish Airlines Flight TK243 Evacuated at Antalya Airport After Landing Gear Fire Detected on Boeing 777-300ER

A Turkish Airlines flight TK243, which is a Boeing 77300 ER, that has been evacuated from the apron after landing at Antalya Airport after the crew detected a fire in the aircraft’s landing gear. 

All passengers had to undergo emergency evacuation after smoke was found in the landing gear. The flight landed safely at Antalya Airport. 

While it was being by during taxing in this landing gear, smoke was observed by one of the crew members. Immediately, the evacuation process was initiated with inflatable slides that were put across for the passengers to evacuate the plane. 

The FAA and other regulatory bodies check or review the systems that have been installed in Boeing airlines.
